SocialIQ is a social-media account connection and publishing tool. It lets a user connect their own social accounts (such as Facebook Pages, YouTube channels, Pinterest boards, and TikTok accounts) and publish content to them on the user's behalf.
When a user connects a platform to SocialIQ through that platform's own OAuth login flow, SocialIQ may receive account and profile information made available by that platform, such as a Page or channel name, a Page/account identifier, a profile picture or account URL, and an access token scoped to the permissions the user approved during that login.
Access tokens are used only to perform actions the user has explicitly authorized -- for example, publishing a video or post to a Page or channel the user selected, or checking whether a previously published item is still live. SocialIQ does not use access tokens to read a user's private messages, friends list, or any data unrelated to the publishing actions it performs on the user's behalf.
To provide the service, SocialIQ stores:
SocialIQ does not sell personal data. SocialIQ does not share connected-account data with third parties except as strictly necessary to operate the publishing feature itself (for example, calling the relevant platform's own API to publish content).
Users can disconnect any connected social platform from SocialIQ at any time from within the application. Disconnecting removes the stored credentials and connection details for that platform.
Platforms SocialIQ connects to -- including Meta/Facebook, Google/YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok -- have their own separate privacy policies governing how they handle data on their own services. SocialIQ's privacy policy covers only what SocialIQ itself stores and does.
Access tokens and other credentials are stored using access controls intended to limit who and what can read them, and are transmitted only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the relevant platform's own API.
